Too much fun?

If you missed the launch party or signing, don’t fret (and don’t worry, that’s a stick of cinnamon), I’ve got plenty of books you can pick up or I can ship (or you can order on Amazon–its free on Kindle).

THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who came to support me at my launch party. I felt so loved and it was so much fun! We’ll have to do it again next year around the same time (yes, there will be a new book called Bake Wars).

Launch Party – Tonight!

TONIGHT!

The launch party is tonight (6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Historical Joseph H. Frisby home, 209 North 400 West, Provo) and I’m making a grazing table, kind of like the one pictured here.

Here are pictures from yesterday’s signing at the library.

Tonight is a different day and a different dress. I bet y’all are dying (mortician humor intended) to see it.

GIFT WRAPPING IS AVAILABLE TONIGHT TOO.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO DRESS UP, BUT I DEFINITELY AM!

And if you can’t come, buy from me in person or order on Amazon

Just a sneak peek at some of the snacks that will be on the grazing table at my Launch Party on FRIDAY!

Launch Party & Signings

Come celebrate with me:

Thursday, November 30th: 10 a.m. – Noon at the Spanish Fork Library, Wonderland room. (Book purchase & signing)

Friday, December 1st: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Historical Joseph H. Frisby home, 209 North 400 West, Provo. (Reception with finger foods—some cinnamon flavored of course— and books available for purchase and signing. Perfect for date night or bringing the family to get out of the freaking house.)

I get asked all the time how many pages my book is.

FYI, authors don’t care about page count until it goes to print–sometimes eliciting the feelings of “Oh, crap! I’m never going to make money on this book.”

What we do care about is word count (The Lonely Mortician is 76,398 words). And if we’ve crafted a good story, chances are we’ve been meticulous in plotting and planning exactly what happens and when. At the quarter mark, the character should be making a choice, whether to leave the “comfort” of their current life for the chance at redemption with a new path or to stay put (the story ends at that point if they don’t jump into the unknown). In the middle, something will flip–sometimes it’s a lie that lulls the character into a false sense of security. A little bit later, all hope is lost with no turning back to the former life.

The Lonely Mortician is 251 pages of moments to pull you out of reality for a spell and jump into someone else’s shoes. Maybe you’ll like it. Maybe you won’t. Maybe you’ll love it. You won’t know until you give it a try. 🤣

Preorders for the ebook are available here (Release date for ebook, hardcover, and paperback this FRIDAY!!!):

Want a signed copy?

Don’t worry, shipping costs aren’t bad. If you need me to ship, the cost is only $5 for paperback and takes roughly a week (media mail).

Let me know if you need me to ship a paperback, or buy through Amazon. *Hardcovers are still delayed. 😭😭😭

Cinnamon plays a major role in The Lonely Mortician. You might even say it plays a main or leading role. hehe (You’ll have to read to see what I’m talking about).

Want your copy of The Lonely Mortician scented like cinnamon? You got it! Simply purchase through me.
